It is being said that these third party short shifters are at high risk of
coming apart on the road thus creating a safety risiko. Do we need to buy a

Bunları standart bir tornavida ile hafifçe kanırtıp ayırın. Vites kolunu dışarıya alırken sol yanındaki fiber parçanın konumuna dikkat edin. Vites kolunu çıkardıktal sonra bir mengene ile tespit edip bir metal testeresi ile ucundaki yaklaşık 2 cm’lik dişli bölümü kesin. Söktüğünüz vites kolunu aynen yerine takıp vidalayın ve kablo bağlantılarını yapın. Körüğü yerine oturtun. Yeni aldığınız vites topuzunu takıp vidalarını sıkıp sabitleyin. Kısa vites kolunuzu güle güle kullanın.
First you must remove
the old shifter knob by turning it counter clockwise until it is loose. Then
you must remove the shifter sleeve with its frame. Now you will see two cables
attached to the shifter. Using a standart screwdriver you must remove these two
shifter cables from the sfihter shaft. There are tree screws holding the
shifter frame on place. Remove them and then remove the shifter. Take care to
note the positions of the extra parts around the shifter. Using a metal saw cut
the upper 2 cm (with the screw teeth) of the shifter. Then mount the shifter in
place. Mount the sleeve with the frame. Mount the new shifter knob. That’s all.
